JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher for grades 7-9 at Stora Vallaskolan in Degerfors, you will play an important role in a large machine. Together with your colleagues, you are expected to drive school development forward and meet students in the best way in collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

Your responsibilities include teaching mathematics and science, as well as mentoring students. You will plan and develop the operations both individually and together with your colleagues to provide students with meaningful and well-structured teaching. You will also follow up on teaching in accordance with the systematic quality work that takes place throughout the school year.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, we prefer that you:

• Have a teaching license and full qualification for the relevant subject
• Have previous experience in the teaching profession
• Have good experience in documentation
• Have experience working with students in need of special support
• Have good knowledge of Swedish - both spoken and written

As a person, we prefer that you are a team player who enjoys taking responsibility. You are an experienced leader in a classroom and of course have a good approach based on values and student perspective. To thrive in this role, you need to be calm, structured, organized, and clear. Good social skills and flexibility with the student's best interests in focus are also qualities we are looking for and should match you.
